Lexi is a small, single-purpose word puzzle. Here's how to play and where to write if something isn't working.

How to play

Guess the hidden word in six tries. After each guess, tiles change color:

C  Right letter, right spot.

A  Right letter, wrong spot.

T  Letter isn't in the word.

Difficulty rotates by day

Each calendar day's daily puzzle uses a different difficulty. Tap the Play menu in the header to start a free-play round at any level.

Frequently asked

My stats reset — did something break?
Stats live in iOS app data. Deleting and reinstalling the app, or restoring from a backup that didn't include app data, will reset them. There is no cloud sync, so once they're gone they're gone.

"Not in word list" but my word is real.
Lexi's dictionary is curated rather than exhaustive — a small set of family-friendly, common words per length. We'll keep expanding it. If a real word is missing, please email us with the word and the difficulty level so we can add it.

Can I get yesterday's puzzle back?
Not yet. Each daily is replaced at midnight in your local time zone. An archive is on the roadmap.

Does Lexi work offline?
Yes, completely. The app never makes network requests. Play on a plane.

Does Lexi collect any data?
No. See the Privacy Policy. Your stats stay on your device.

Is there an Android version?
Not currently. iOS only for now.
