Privacy Policy

Lexi collects no personal data. Everything stays on your device.

What we don't do

What stays on your device

Lexi uses Apple's built-in UserDefaults to remember your gameplay state on this device only — your puzzle progress, win count, current streak, longest streak, and the distribution of how many guesses you typically need. This information never leaves your iPhone. It is not synced, backed up to our servers, or visible to us in any form. Uninstalling the app removes it permanently.

Network activity

Lexi does not make network requests. The app functions entirely offline. The only times your device may contact Apple's servers in connection with Lexi are events handled by iOS itself — such as App Store updates or system-level diagnostics you have opted into in your iPhone Settings. Those interactions are governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.

Children

Lexi is rated 4+ and is appropriate for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide by default.

Sharing puzzle results

When you tap "Share" after finishing a puzzle, iOS opens the standard share sheet so you can send your result — for example, "Lexi Daily No. 1 · Normal 3/6" plus a grid of emoji squares — to any app of your choosing. Lexi never sees or stores what you do with that share sheet; the destination is entirely up to you.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data — for example, if a future version adds iCloud sync as an opt-in feature — we will update this page and the "Effective" date above. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
